Because they've degraded in every way. Their music is shit now and just basically everything about them, the things they do the, way they seem to just want attention and are willing to please little teenage girl fans no matter what. Real respect is given to people who can be like, "fuck everything, I know who I am, I know what I Want and I don't care who says what" I know people may think that's what their new music says (i.e. Let Yourself Go) but I just don't see it that way, I see it as a desperaate attempt to make fans happy. I mean, comparing American Idiot and uno, dos, tré, it's obvious which one is more powerful, more special, more heartfelt and much better. I'm willing to listen to green day if they go back to making the kind of music that defined them, but for now Green Day arent what I listen to
